First of all…what does a home inspection cover? A home inspection is a visual examination of a home and its accessible systems and components. A good home inspection should take a few hours and should include observation of the structural components such as roof, foundation, exterior walls, interior walls and floors as well as operation of the plumbing, electrical, heating & cooling systems and built in appliances. Findings should be provided in the form of a comprehensive inspection report which includes an objective evaluation of the home by clearly outlining any defects and potential problems.
